Fern, Feather, Quilt, Home

I created this collection to capture the feelings of home and all of the things that make it a peaceful, personal refuge: those plant cuttings, beach stones, well-worn quilts, and hand-made pottery that give a space coziness and meaning. These patterns feature modern shapes, lines, and angles but they are created by combining hand-drawn and painted motifs. They incorporate colors found in my fabric scraps and houseplants as well as those mixed on my paint palette. The result is homey, comfortable, and a little bit eccentric - just like my favorite places and spaces.

Available in two colorways: Fiddle Leaf Fig and Open Windows

Myrna & Hideko

My most personal collection to date, these patterns are inspired by both of my grandmas- Myrna Moore and Hideko Kanzaki. Although they came from wildly different backgrounds (they grew up in Minnesota and in Japan, respectively), I remember them both for their stylish, mid-century sensibilities and their ability to sew and make things by hand. These patterns mix my Scandinavian and Japanese heritage with dense, rich, textures and warm, vintage colors. I was inspired by a sense of history but in juxtaposing and layering these patterns, I’m envisioning new things to come.

Two Favorite Mini Collections

The first mini-collection is called Dandelions & Mint and it’s inspired by the lively, refreshing feel of late spring and early summer. It’s my favorite time of year- I celebrate my birthday in May and I relish the feeling of having the entire summer ahead. Plus, there is so much beauty and tenacity to be found in so-called weeds.

The second mini-collection is called Rabbit in the Moon Garden. The idea behind these patterns was to create something FUN! I was deeply invested in my Myrna and Hideko Collection and I wanted to keep going with many of those ideas and motifs while leveling up the whimsical elements of my work.

Meadow Wandering

This collection is about the feeling of stepping out of a tangled forest into a wide open meadow. It inspires you to slow down, take a deep breath, and wander. Notice the interconnected elements of flowers, insects, and grasses. Follow a dragonfly. Pick a poppy.
