My name is Hillary and I’m an artist and illustrator whose artwork is all about dreamy, whimsical interpretations of the natural world. I find endless inspiration in nature- I love exploring and adventuring outdoors and then returning to my studio to reimagine those experiences as paintings, drawings, and patterns that evoke a sense of wonder.
As my love for surface pattern design has grown, I’ve become passionate about fabric, home, and paper goods that are approachable and graceful with an organic, hand-drawn feel. But I’m not afraid to layer in vintage or playful elements on a whim.
I live in Seattle, WA, where I was born and raised. I’m a morning person who adores vegetables (growing and eating them), reading novels from little free libraries, and exploring forests and beaches with my partner, Chris, our two kids, and our hound dog, Fred.
